Are you wondering what a proper tattoo healing process looks like? Don’t know how long it takes for your skin to regenerate? Wondering what to do? Should I use any creams? Foil? You ask, we explain!
Remember that a tattoo made by an experienced tattoo artist heals quickly and easily!
Artist selected, design approved, tattoo done! What now?!
From this article you will find out: How does a proper tattoo healing process look like, what influences the healing time and whether the use of special creams speeds up this process. |
The most important thing has already been done – the selection of the right artist. The longer the tattoo artist creates, the greater his experience is. This means speed and precision of tattooing. A well-chosen tattoo artist is 99% of success when it comes to proper tattoo healing. During a short tattooing process, the body does not use as much energy as during a long session, and therefore healing is faster. Of course, we’re not talking about timed work or strange races here. That’s not the point. Tattoos do not like rushing at any stage of creation. However, an inexperienced tattoo artist can make the same design twice as long as someone with long experience.
Every tattoo artist has his own style. Different types of tattoos heal differently. If you already trust an artist, listen to him from beginning to end. He knows best what technique he uses, so he will be the best person to advise you on the care and healing of your tattoo. He has already performed hundreds of tattoos on various body parts and knows what will work for you.
The healing process will vary depending on whether the tattoo is black, shaded or colored. It also depends on where it is placed on the body. A linear tattoo heals faster than a colored one. The first three or four days are the most important in the healing process. However, remember that there are areas on the body that require a longer healing period. These are primarily the parts of the body that move or stretch, including:
After the tattoo is done, each of our artists will tell you how to take care of your design. You will also receive healing instructions from us. Use the ointment we recommend.
We are always at your disposal – even after the tattoo is done. Don’t ask family, friends or neighbors for advice. Their tattoo could have been made by someone else – someone who uses a completely different technique and makes completely different tattoos, and therefore both care and healing process could have been different for him. Call or text us! We are here to help you!
It is not the tattoo care products that are responsible for the entire healing process. Tattoo healing depends primarily on the tattoo artist who makes the artwork. The more experience and skills, the better the tattoo execution and healing process. Would you like your house to be designed by someone who is still learning? Would you like your car repaired by someone who has no experience? Or maybe you would like to be operated on by an inexperienced surgeon?
During the first days, plasma and ink may still flow from the tattoo. Washing your tattoo regularly will help remove this – so that it doesn’t scab. The tattoo will be itchy. This means everything is healing properly. After a few days, the tattoo will begin to peel. This is a normal process. Do not scratch or tear off fallen cuticles.
Care for your tattoo as recommended – without any changes. This cycle can last up to thirty days. After this period, you can easily return to prohibited activities.
